By accessing or using the Kintsu mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
Description of Service
Kintsu is a habit tracking application that helps users build positive habits and overcome negative ones through a compassionate, recovery-focused approach inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious code or harmful content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
The Kintsu app, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Kintsu and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create within the app.
Subscription and Payments
Kintsu offers both free and premium subscription tiers:
- Free tier: Limited to 3 active habits
- Premium tier: Unlimited habits and additional features
Subscriptions are billed through your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and are subject to their respective terms and conditions. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Kintsu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. This app is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kintsu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
